Dr Arun (Arunaruban) Arunasalam
Dr Arun’s kind and compassionate demeanour allow his patients to feel comfortable before and during treatment, especially for those who suffer from dental anxiety. He places a heavy focus on patient satisfaction and is a big believer in patient centred care.
Combining over 10 years of experience and extensive clinical knowledge, Dr Arun loves getting his teeth sucked into all aspects of dentistry, however, is particularly interested in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and oral health education.
Dr Arun is committed to continuously updating his skills through on-going professional learning ensuring he is using modern technique and technology on his patients. He also holds the position of Associate Lecturer with University of Queensland, which enables him to mentor and supervise final-year dental students on placement in the Oral Health facility of Wide Bay Health.
Away from the practice, Dr Arun lives an active lifestyle. He thoroughly enjoys playing sports including badminton and cricket. He loves traveling to new places, gardening and spending time with his friends and family.
He is also fluent in English, Tamil and Sinhalese.
